Dr. Maclain Tomaino was born here in Roosevelt, Utah. After graduating from Union High School in 2013 he spent 4 years at Utah Valley University for his undergraduate degree, followed by 4 years of veterinary school split between Utah State University and Washington State University.
Following veterinary school Maclain and his wife, Cali, made the decision to move back home to the basin. Since moving home in May they have been thoroughly enjoying the quick access to all of their favorite things like hiking, camping, mountain biking, snowboarding, golfing, and fishing. All done with their two dogs Hershel and Canelo.

Maclain has loved returning home and working at Uinta Veterinary Services as it has allowed him not only to do what he loves, but also to serve the community that he grew up loving.
