During surgery we track vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and body temperature, in real time. This allows our veterinarians to maintain optimal safety and adjust quickly to any changes. With the combination of advanced surgical techniques, cutting-edge equipment, and comprehensive preoperative evaluations, we are dedicated to ensuring a safe and successful outcome for every pet.
Surgery options include Pre-Surgical Bloodwork and IV Catheters. We highly recommend presurgical bloodwork for all patients to assess their overall health and detect any underlying conditions that could impact the surgery. For pets over six years old, this bloodwork is required, as older animals are more prone to age-related health issues such as kidney, liver, or heart problems, which may affect how they respond to anesthesia.
